How would I go about putting a video or two from youtube on my blog here? I've been wandering there for hours now and I've found several genuinely interesting pagan-based videos that I'd like to share and here what other people think about my findings....
(Yet I haven't the fuzziest on how to do so... :-/ )
...The movie Fern Gully? It was one of my favorite movies when I was little and I finally came across it at WalMart the other day...
While watching it, I realized a few things about myself...
1) The movie is where my obsession with fairies must have come from
2) The movie also probably sprouted my interest in guys with red hair and green eyes... lmao
3) The central ideas in the movie have almost definitely subconsiously influenced me to become the Pagan I am today
4) That its a shamethat the movie is so hard to find, because of the many kids that won't be able to experience the magic of Fern Gully...
Okay, so I know this all may sound a little corny, but how many movies do you remember in detail at nineteen when you haven't seen the movie since your seven or eight?
Anyway, just figured I'd share these observations... Tell me what you think, and if you've never seen the movie, let me know and I'll tell you what it's about if you like...
You are Hecate, goddess of wisdom. She symbolizes magic, divination, luck, and healing. Unfortunately, with the rise of Christianity, her image was demonized into a horrible monster by the clergy to discourage her followers.
Wiccans are from a relatively new religion, dating only as far back as the early to mid 1900s. This is deceptive, Wicca is based off a religion that is very ancient and whose participants were hunted by the church in massive witch hunts. Although wiccan magic states that it "must harm no one". In the middle ages, a witch would have been hunted and killed if they were caught preforming any magical act, even healing. A sadder fact, though, is that most of the people killed for being witches in history were not in fact witches.

Okay...so I was meaning to put up more quizzes than just one or two; However, quizilla is not being cooperative and I'm just not feeling any of the other sites I've visited tonight aside from these two quizzes... So yeah,
Nothing exciting has happened lately, though last night I went to my best friend's babyshower and had a good time. I'm still testing the waters here at covenspace, but I'm slowly settling in. However, I still feel a little reluctant to post in the forums of the groups I've joined; I can't really pinpoint as to why...
It might be because I've been thinking alot lately, and therefore questioning myslef about alot of things, and that just may have spilled out onto this site... It seems that I'm reluctant about so many things anymore that this has to be the reason.
Any-who--- I hope everyone's Thanksgiving weekend was great and I just wanted to say **THANK YOU** to those who have so-far welcomed me to this site. And as for what I actually wanted to say in this blog today, it will have to wait for another day because I've COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN what it was now that I've started to type... ::shrugs:: Ah Well; the feeling is nothing new to me, and it will come back into my mind as soon as it isn't important anymore... ^_^
I'm [[obviously]] new here, and I'd like to meet some people on this site. Being as I'm pretty awful with Introductions I'll leave it at this... My name is Ashley, I'm from New Jersey, the {sometimes} wonderful USA. I love to rollerskate, read, and write; the rest you can find out on my profile here or on myspace {{http://www.myspace.com/oopixidust88oo}}. Any suggestions as to what I should check out on this site, please feel free to let me know!!!
